Are you ordering emergency contraception for immediate use? Emergency contraception should be taken as soon as possible after unprotected sex as the effectiveness of the treatment reduces over time. We recommend immediate treatment from a local pharmacy or GP.

• 85% effective between 24 - 48 hours
• 58% effective between 48 - 72 hours

Do you agree to the following: 

• I am purchasing this morning after pill for future use (in case my usual method of contraception fails). 
• I will not use ellaOne with levonorgestrel
• If I do become pregnant after taking ellaOne, I will seek appropriate medical advice
• I will read the patient information leaflet supplied with my medication
• I will contact my GP or MyMedsUK if I experience any side effects
• I have answered the assessment questions truthfully and accurately
• I confirm that I am over 18 years old
• I am aware that I may be contacted to give further information via phone or email and if I am not contactable this will lead to a delay in receipt of my prescription

Do you agree to the following:

• If I vomit within three hours of taking the tablet, I will need to take another one. I will contact MyMedsUK, my pharmacist, doctor or family planning clinic to get another tablet
• No contraception is 100% effective. If my period is more than 5 days late or unusually light or heavy I will contact my doctor as soon as possible.
• That a barrier method of contraception needs to be used until the next period if I take this tablet.
• Emergency contraception is not a form of birth control.
• Emergency contraception does NOT protect you from sexually transmitted diseases or infections
