- Hypnotic medicines can only be supplied by our doctors if you can confirm you have exhausted all non-medical methods to resolve insomnia e.g. exercise, yoga, camomile tea etc.
- Only one type of hypnotic medicine will be supplied to a customer at any one time.
- In order for our doctors to issue a prescription for a hypnotic medicine you must provide a detailed medical history that is truthful and accurate.
- If you suffer any reaction or side-effects whilst taking a hypnotic medicine you must inform your GP immediately and cease taking the medicine
- MyMedsUK and our prescribing Doctors follow the dosage guidelines recommended in the British National Formulary (BNF). These guidelines are listed next to each type of hypnotic medicine. You can refer to them when adding an item to your basket. You must agree to always follow the prescriber’s instructions. A maximum supply of 14 tablets will be provided over a 30-day period.
- Hypnotic medicines should only be used for short spells. Our software is designed to ensure duplicate customer accounts are linked and that medicines cannot be ordered before they are due. You agree to use this service responsibly.
- If we become aware that a customer has ordered from MyMedsUK and from other websites or their own GP at the same time, we will cancel the order so that the total amount of medication supplied to any one person does not exceed the maximum BNF dosage guidelines.
- Customer ID checks are carried out in order to age verify our customers. We're particularly careful in prescribing for younger people i.e. under 25, since it is very uncommon for individuals within this age group to have a condition which will require hypnotic medicines.
- The billing address for the card should be the same as the delivery address. In occasional cases, a work or holiday address may be used, however, proof may be required.
- If several people request z-drugs from the same address or within close proximity of a particular address, then these orders are likely to be refused.
- We strongly recommend that all patients give consent for our prescribing doctors to forward a referral letter to your own GP to include them in your treatment.
- MyMedsUK has taken all relevant measures to ensure that hypnotics are provided legally and safely. Hypnotics can be dangerous if used incorrectly or recreationally.
